No, this is not a tell you who to vote for blog. No one has that kind of power over us, which is shown by entering the booth alone, vote how you want to. It is a check in to see how you are directing your energy.

Every being in the universe emits energy. Every thought process creates a ripple in our world. That is why it is so important to be aware of how you truly feel and what you are offering in the way of the your personal signal. See this is the thing; we are individually responsible for what we project. So you alone can control if you help or hinder your life.

No one can be upbeat or "positive" all the time. It isn't possible given that emotions ebb and flow. However, when one participates in joining the ruckus or drama going on, it increases it and makes whatever that is being paid attention to greater. Energy goes where energy flows so no matter what you are speaking and feeling about; you are creating.

So, for instance, if you are re-telling a story over and over again of what has happened in the past or fears of what could happen (ahem, election Tuesday), you are contributing to the outcome possibly being the "scary" prospective.

It takes practice to be able to speak honestly without drama and without fear projecting. It is so worth the practice. Energy does not flow backwards. It does not understand you "don't" want something. It feels out the vibration and runs with it. So, you can be saying you don't want to have a tyrant for a boss but because energy only flows forward, it will be processed as you DO want one. Negating words are a human creation. No one asked energy if it wanted to vote on this, so it keeps doing what it is so good at; answering the request as always saying yes.

The Law of Attraction is not a new concept and I'm probably telling you what you already know, but in case you didn't or you have simply forgotten, and that's ok, I would like to remind you that you have a choice in how your energy is perceived and how it helps to create your life. Sure, that means there is responsibility in what you are saying and feeling, but isn't that a great thing? Doesn't it feel good to think about what you DO want. How you DO want to feel?

It is easy to get rapped up in trying to convince others to think, feel or act in the way you do, but that is a complete waste of time if you aren't in alignment with yourself because you won't be offering a signal that is in your favor anyway. You will be contributing to the force of what you don't want if you get caught up in proving you are right. Drop that crap. It's so exhausting.

So, as we, in the United States, move toward the election this week, remember when you are talking, posting on social media, complaining with others or worrying in your head; all of that matters. If you want to help, present in support of what or whom you would like to see represent. If someone wants to drag you into their drama tell them you have given up the drama to the llamas so you will have to pass while you line your personal energy to help.

The bottom line is everyone has their own truth and we can be kind even if we don't agree but we can't complain if we didn't align with our own in the first place.

Know your own energy first,
Vicki

With all the talk about a new year starting and a chance to change things up I was thinking the other day about those that have the lucky life. Admit it, you have looked at others and thought, man, they are so lucky. They have "it" all. They step in "it" and come out smelling like a rose. We've all thought it or said it but what does lucky mean anyway?

I have read for those that have unlimited wealth and others that save up to come see me. I have spent time with people who some would say were lucky as they look at the exterior of things, but have had some of the most challenging paths I have ever heard. I have been that person that others say is so lucky because things seem to come easy to me, but in reality what is really going on is those that seem to have it all are really in alignment.

Whether one is aware of what being in alignment means, or not, the wonderful law of attraction is in action. All things in the universe are great big magnets including humans, especially humans. We draw to us our experiences. Some people don't want to hear that because it means taking responsibility for their emotions and thoughts. Maybe you are one of those people and that is fine, it really is, it is your life after all. Feel free to be someone who continues to look at others and lament how they have it better. Or.....you could ask how can I be in alignment and be observing how blessed I really am?

Luck to me seems so random, like the lottery, but blessed includes oneself in the process and is available to all. Isn't that fun?

So, to be in alignment one only has to be willing to admit when they feel good and decide to shift if they don't. Easy peasy right? Not so much. Often it is really challenging to admit when we don't like how we are living or how we are feeling. I believe this is because most don't take the time to ask themselves who they are and if they remember ever being in alignment. It really is ok, but if you want to feel blessed and increase what is great in your life, you have to pay attention to yourself. There really isn't any other way around it. So, shall we get to it then?

Chat with yourself:
  • Do I like me? Would I want to hang around with me?
  • If I were to treat me like one of my friends, what would I do for me?
  • The one thing that isn't in alignment (feels right) right now is ________________.
  • One thing I could do to help it be in alignment is ____________________.
  • I will do this by _______(this afternoon, tomorrow, one week).
  • Would I talk to my loved ones the way I talk to me in my head?
Being lined up with self is a lifelong process. It is not something you do once and walk away from. It is always in transition and once you get good with that, it is a lot of fun. Energy doesn't stand still, why should you?

I know I am blessed and I know how much effort I put into being in alignment. One of the ways I do that is I no longer do things because others expect me to. If it doesn't feel right in my gut, I don't do it regardless of how another may feel. After all, how they feel about me is none of my business! Of course I pay my bills and show up to what I've committed to but dinners I don't want to attend, nope, committees I don't want to be on, nope, donations I no longer want to make, nope. It is very freeing to be able to make decisions about how you feel rather than guilt or obligation, it is also authentic and in alignment. When those elements are there, you have a recipe for success. Success others may call luck, but we know differently, don't we?

Blessed to know you,
Vicki

“There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a person being themselves. Imagine going through your day being un-apologetically you.”
― Steve Maraboli

Can you imagine that? Can you feel how it would be to go through a day and just be you? The freedom to feel whatever you want, when you want and be able to articulately express it in a way that brings awareness and completion to self. Of course, we all have this right but is the ability there?

I have found in my work that most of the time people do not even realize that have this right never mind having been taught to show up as themselves and no one else. Not the person your parents wanted you to be or your first partner or the boss who signs your paycheck, but just you. My belief is that if we don't start doing this for ourselves we will be missing out on one of the greatest parts of being human...us.

Unless we learn to listen to self and be willing to be brave enough to step out on the stage of our own lives we will continuously be shortchanging ourselves. I am not saying rent a billboard and tell everyone how fantastic you are, although if you want to, go for it, I am saying simply holding that energy of "I'm good and whatever is going on around me does not define me nor does it have to short circuit me unless I choose to allow it to."

The theory that the world is ending brings that BEST time to shift how you have been living. I mean think about it, if it was ending wouldn't you want to be authentic in your last couple of weeks, days, minutes? I know I would but I also know it isn't ending and even when we croak, it's not ending so therefore my focus is a bit different, but I digress. If your physical life in this time was coming to the transition place, wouldn't you want the opportunity to look at it and see where you could be in alignment more or get there?

Well, we have that opportunity every day it's just most of us don't take it because no one is putting our feet to the fire and we are great procrastinators. I have been using the whole December 2012 energy to ask myself if how I am living is how I want to be living. Is who I am who I want to be? How can I bring more light and joy and clearing to myself, my body and my soul so that when I do croak I can have that all important meeting with myself and say "ya know what kid, ya did ok."

I am going to challenge you to do the same and not because I feel my way is the only way but because I KNOW how good it feels to be authentic and to be able to be who you are without apologies to anyone, especially yourself and I want you to feel that good too. No, it isn't a constant state of blissed out I love ya man, but it is pretty darn good to be in it the majority of the time and to know that when I am not, it is possible but also my responsibility to raise the vibration.

So, where is your life are you not being authentic? Where are you going through the motions and not living to your true nature, whatever that might be? You don't have to change all of it at once, choose one area and shift that and then allow another and shift that. If you need help, you know where to find me.

Use the humans tendency for drama and each time you hear something about December 21st, 2012, stop, breathe and ask yourself if you are in alignment with self and if you get a no, ask gently how you could help you get there. Yes, it feels a bit weird at first but once you get used to checking in with you, you won't be able to go back to the old way of hiding, or lying to self. It just won't feel right any longer.

For all the obligations of the holiday season remember to check in and see if you really want to participate because if you can't go authentically, then you shouldn't go at all.

Viewing life from a place of gloriousity today,
Vicki
